Your Role

Do you want to lead technical projects where tomorrow's solutions take shape? We are now looking for a project manager for our team within Advanced Development, where the focus is on applied research and pre-development projects that mature and secure technology for future product generations and customer deliveries.

As a technical project manager, you will lead projects from idea to validated concept at the forefront of technology, and be responsible for structuring and following up on goals, timelines, and deliveries in a cross-functional environment. You will lead specialists in early phases where requirements and solutions are not yet fully defined, which requires you to actively manage the risks and uncertainties that arise in early product development.

The work requires a structured approach combined with creative problem-solving to identify new technical pathways forward. You act as a central link in communication with stakeholders at various levels, clarifying technical progress and ensuring that the project's goals are anchored in the organization.

To succeed in this role, you are a structured and results-oriented leader who is also curious and comfortable working in environments where not everything is defined from the start. You have an open and unpretentious attitude towards collaboration and possess a genuine technical interest that allows you to communicate freely with different technical disciplines. We appreciate a natural engagement in your leadership and your ability to make your results understandable and clear to others.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have the following:

• Experience in technical project management, preferably within product or technology development.
• An engineering degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have experience with complex technical systems, agile project management methods, or work in early development phases such as pre-development.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
